Help! please

Posted by Turbo Snail on May 15, 2007 at 13:39:18:

I had a UPPP w/ tonsilectomy several years ago. Unfortunately, I'm still snoring and it is causing not only loss of sleep for me, but my wife also. It's getting so bad that I snore in every position (Back, either side, and even on my stomach). I am nearly 40, not even close to being over weight. I do smoke and drink several beers in the evening. I have noticed though that in the mornings when I wake up, my sinuses (SP?) run like a firehydrant.

When I was first diagnosed, I did have some mild sleep apnea, a deviated septum, and an enlarged tongue base.

I need some advice as to whether I need additional surgery/ other remedy or if the condition is caused by allergies.
