I think you're asking questions that only a doctor could answer. If your sleep apnea diagnosis was several years ago, it may have well gotten worse. One need not be overweight or over 40 to have severe sleep apnea. You need to have allergy testing to rule that out. As to surgery -- well, I don't think anyone here can answer that question for you at this stage.
