Posted by Captin Cannuck on May 16, 2007 at 04:32:45:I just found out that Air Canada will count my CPAP as one of my carry-on bags. I understand that some other carriers do not count it as a "bag". This will mean that because of sleep apnea, I will be able to bring less of my possessions home than an able-bodied person would be. I am flying from Tokyo to Halifax, and am trying to bring as much of my possessions with me that I can. Unfortunately, Air Canada is the only possible carrier that will take me to where I need to go. I can say that this will be a factor that I will consider when booking air travel in the future. As a CPAP user, Air Canada will not be high on my list.
