If you search many forums back -- around the 80s, I think, or prior, people posted some rather ingenious solutions to the problem of getting tangled in the hose. As I recall, one person mounted a swivel hook in the ceiling and looped the hose through that.

As for being restless, if you resolve the problems of getting enough air and oxygen at night, and your breathing is comfortable (i.e., no stuffiness or sinus problems), you may find the restlessness diminishes. There are different air delivery interfaces as well.

The thing is to tackle one problem at a time and work through that while researching other options and CPAP, at least, is non-invasive. There is a wealth of information in these forums, but it isn't always easy to find. Good luck.
