We might not have a "right" to fly, but I think we can be afforded
the normal things someone without a disability gets to enjoy - a
couple of carry-ons PLUS a CPAP during a long flight where
baggage can, and often does get lost, is reasonable in my
opinion.
We had experience with lost baggage when we went to India. We
had 4 large bags (to carry all the supplies for the mission trip we
were on)plus carry-ons, etc. At that time, I didn't attempt to take
the CPAP - just didn't want to mess with it with all that luggage
LOL Our bags did not arrive with us. We were without necessities
for a couple of days. Lesson is to keep more with you on the
airplaine for very long trips with connections. Checking the CPAP
had I brought it would have not worked out very well.
