Posted by jo on June 01, 2007 at 05:30:33:I am fairly new to CPAP. I have been on the machine for 2 weeks and use the nasal pillow mask. My good nights are kind of hit and miss at this point. I know it take time to adjust.
My main concern is that sometimes I wake up with extreme puffiness around my eyes...upper lids and below. I have always had a problem with this but not to this extreme. It's so embarrasing! I was hoping with a good nights sleep I would have less and not more.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I read somewhere that the mask might be too tight but I don't think that's it.
Please help...I am 47 but look so old and tired.
