First of all, the sleep techs have probably seen everything by now and will not think you're a loon. So far as not sleeping during the test, you might ask your doctor for a couple of Ambien and take one when you're finally at the lab. If you can't get the Ambien, some people find that taking Benadryl is sufficient to induce sleep. I find success from time to time with Unisom which is OTC.

While snoring is usually associated with apneic events, there are people who don't snore and tested positive.

Bottom line -- work on putting your worries out of your mind. Nothing productive comes of worrying. Good luck.
