I had it done in Salt Lake City a little over 4 years ago. The surgeon trained with the "gurus" in Stanford. I was lucky enough to also have a doctor on fellowship who had taken part in or performed over 300 of the procedures. I am a rare case, though. I had it done on a Friday, went home Sunday then back to work a week from the Monday after (10 days from the surgery). At six months and the two sleep studies since, the obstructive events are essentially zero where they had been 60 or higher each of the previous 9 sleep studies I had done. I highly recommend the procedure.
