Yes I believe this to be true as this happened to me. After having bicuspids removed and upper teeth pushed back I developed sleep apnea (which I did'nt know about until 2006). I've had sleep apnea since 2000 and didn't know it. Diabetes developed in 2002, arrythmias developed in 2001 and then again in 2006. I know this sleep apnea changed the physiology of my body for the worst.
