Remstar CflexAPAP alert not working

Posted by E in San Francisco Bay Area on June 24, 2007 at 23:18:32:

Hi everyone,

I am having trouble getting the alert on my remstar APAP to work. When I take my full face mask off unconciously during the night, the alert does not sound. I have it set to alert, but it isn't working. If it's not detecting the mask being off, how could it possibly be detecting apneas?

Has anybody else had this problem?

Thank you very much in advance. Sleep well!
