I like the S8 Vantage. It is remarkably small; it is quiet. This is the 1st ResMed unit I have used.

As far as the recall, it is quite extensive--about 300,000 units. You are right though about the chance of something going wrong. .02% (7 out of 300,000) had any problems whatsoever related to the recall. Too bad I got caught in the recall. Nice thing is that I will be getting a brand new machine.

After 6 months' use, I can say that it is a good reliable machine. I love the idea of APAP! ResMed seems reputable.
