You may have built up considerable sleep debt. Dr. Dement's book, "Promise of Sleep," has more information on this. In addition, dealing with chronic pain can be exhausting. However, it seems that since your fatigue didn't set in until after you took your meds, perhaps you can delay the first dose and see how you feel for a bit. You're dealing with several things and getting more sleep can change the equation. It may take awhile to get things balanced out again. I hope for you that your pain is way diminished now that you're getting sleep. Would be nice, wouldn't it?
