Another theory on reflux will be found by searching PubMed using "Herr [au] AND reflux" for the search.

The citations with Chest will provide full text for reflux and irritable bowel syndrome.

The Jarrett citation in irritable bowel syndrome implies the apnea event preceedes reflux or bowel events.

Some of those in the field of autism feel that reflux or bowel problem initiates the sleep interruption.

In the reflux writeup the "Peterson" paper reports that in many cases the apnea preceeds the awakening to go to the bathroom for urination.

Confusion to the enemy!
Best to all
