It could be that your CO2 re-breathing is too little and that there is too much air venting going on. There is a delicate balance for some people, but it's not oxygen, it's the CO2 retention. Most of the newer masks vent a lot of air. Do a internet search on CPAP supply websites (there are a lot of them)and try to find one of the older Respironics coutour masks designs that uses the whisper swivel mask valve. These designs retain slighty more CO2 because the valve is further away from the mask.
