You may want to narrow your pressure limits. I am assuming that you have a prescribed pressure of something a tad under 13 from how you worded your original statement. If it is say... 12, you'll want to have it max out at 15 and no more. this ought to alleviate the runaway pressure phenomenon. Having it set to wide open upper limit is not good therapy. It's alright to do so to establish a titration, but not for therapy. You want a range lower to upper of usually no more than 5 cm... 4 being better. I too figure that it needs to be serviced if it is running away like that all the time. Just hard to know for sure once were asleep. Good Luck.
