CPAP's at higher pressure can cause excess gas called aerophasia.

I'm not sure why you're waking up light-headed. It almost sounds like you still have problems with apneic events or your oxygen levels are low.

If the CPAP is leaking it will definitely not help as much. This could cause you to wake up feeling unrefreshed.
