With your CPAP prescription, you should be able to buy an autopap, including software, for significantly less than $1,700. The advantage to an autopap is that you will be able to monitor your own response to CPAP and whether you continue to have apneas at a pressure of 11. It can be set to run in a fixed pressure mode by setting the bottom and top range to the same number or you can use it in the auto mode and determine whether your pressure needs vary significantly over time, which is the case with many people. Whatever you do, make sure you get a heated humidifier and insulating sleeve for the hose. Most people find they need it.

I'm not sure any of us have all the info we need when we start this journey; we have enough to make a good start and then educate ourselves as we go along. Each person is different. Good luck to you.

Westwood Blvd, huh? No wonder the price is so high.
