I agree. I have found that there are some companies that sell directly to the customer skipping the middleman. You will find these on the net. I was in a similar situation, and found that a little hunting around on the net pays off.

I also advise a Auto PAP (APAP). As one guy said, any of them will probably be very good. As for me, I chose the Resmed Vantage because I understand that it is slightly faster to respond to flow limitations. On the con side, it is the most expensive one. I wrote a consumer review of it recently in this forum.
