Posted by sleepyhead on August 07, 2007 at 15:28:31:I had a sleep study which said I did not meet the criteria for sleep apnea. It also said I had very poor (<50%) sleep effieciency, and if retested I might show sleep apnea. My Dr is convinced it's sleep apnea (sleepy during the daytime, no problem falling asleep at night, wake up some, but then go right back to sleep) and suggested that I use a CPAP for a couple of months and see if that helped. Does this seem reasonable? What else could cause daytime sleepiness if it's not sleep apnea? Thanks!
