Daytime Sleepiness can be caused by Narcolepsy, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and several other sleep disorders. Note that these are all much rarer that Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Your symptoms can also be caused by Diabetes, Hepatitis, Lupus, and a long list of diseases not classified as sleep/wake disorders.

However, since you report “very poor . . . sleep efficiency,” I think that this is the primary suspect!
