Hotter weather can inflame your nasal passages. I've noticed that it's easier to breathe through my nose when the temperature is significantly low. I don't think this should affect your apnea much though.

You should look into getting a genioglossus advancement. I had it done and it was not that invasive and didn't hurt nearly as much as those tonsils!
