trying to stop sleeping pills

had hard time sleeping after the jaw surgery...
so i have been taking sleeping pills for about 2 months now...
well.... having heard that the pills have negative effects on sleep quality even with CPAP, i am trying to stop taking sleeping pills but cannot...
cannot fall asleep without the pill...
i ended up staying awake until like 3 am, which worsens my EDS the day after... any suggesions?
