What kind of sleeping pills are you using? If a narcotic (like Flurazapam) switch over to a non-narcotic (like Ambien) for a few nights -- or vice-versa, then try to stop taking them all together. Also, could try an over-the-counter sleep aid for a few nights to get you off the other stuff, however they tend to leave me sleepy in the morning -- but it might be worth it.
