Point where the OSA occurs

Posted by jiveonlive on August 24, 2007 at 00:39:26:

i recently had a surgery to pull forward my upper jaw along with other procedures....
after having taken tons of x-rays and cts and so forth...
i was puzzled as to why doctors can't pinpoint the areas around which the apnea occurs....
the doctors said the films do not show any anatomical indications of apneas.... ???
but the sleep test showed OSA....
so the doctor's comment on the surgery was that it may cure OSA but not sure..... ???

anyone had similar experience?
