jiveonlive,

I'm not sure where you live or how far you would be willing to travel, but I recently moved to the Atlanta area. I found a doctor who is supposed to be in the top five for ENT/sleep doctors. Because of the rules of this site, I don't think I'm allowed to mention his name, however you can still do a search on this sites search engine and find him. I'm not sure on the name of the test, but he stuck tubes through each nostril and down my throat with a tube camera (no pain). He had me blow through each nostril, then he had me lie on my back. He was able to locate different sites of obstuction. He also dicovered that my tongue falls back way too far when I'm lying on my back. Maybe you ought to give this doctor a visit. Most of the good doctors around the country seem to know him and they highly recommend him if you live in this area. Not only was he good, he was also very concerned.
