There is a wide variety of equipment available to help with your problems. Ask for different options. You could go to a regular nasal mask if the pillow design doesn't work for you. You can also get a CPAP machine that has exhale relief. That might help a bit. The two largest manufacturers that have exhale relief features built in are Respironics (C-Flex) and ResMed (ERP)
