I've put my CPAP and APAP machines through many X-Ray machines at airports and never had a problem. I didn't think you had a choice to not put them through the X-Ray machine? They always X-ray my machine even if I take it out of the bag, and they also always swipe it to test for explosives as well.

These tests have never damaged my machine or the data stored in them. However, I only recently got a machine with the data-type card and I've never put that particular machine through X-Ray. I'd doubt that it would cause a problem, though.
