1. I think that you should definately insist on being treated with APAP. In the view of Dr. Dement founder of the Apnea Index, anyone who has an AHI of greater than five should seek treatment.

2. Most likely they will know your position when they did the PSG test. They will corelate your body position to your AHI, blood oxygen desaturation, level of sleep, etc. at a given time and generate date.

3. I think that it is possible that the tylenol could make you more relaxed and thus your muscles might relax more and increase your AHI. Nevertheless, you said that you have been on them for ten years, so maybe their effectiveness has worn off. It's a good question. Hopefully if you get your sleep apnea treated, you wont need the pills anymore. There are stories about that in the book "The Promise of Sleep", which I highly recommend. Author is Dr. William C. Dement. There is a nice chapter on his experience treating people with sleep apnea.
