CPAP Pressure

Posted by jiveonlive on September 10, 2007 at 17:49:12:

have been using REMstar AUTO for about a year now...
with pressure of 4
the sleep test showed the number of apnea episodes of 4 with CPAP...

i was just wondering why CPAP cannot reduce the apnea episodes to zero....

the sleep test showed the number of apnea episodes reducing to zero when the pressunre is set at 6...

since CPAP has no effect on EDS (whis is severe), i was wondering if the pressure should be set to 6 or higher...
