blocked nostrils

Posted by vesselpessel on September 11, 2007 at 16:05:17:

I use nasal pillows and inevitably a few moments after I lay down "one" nostril becomes blocked. Using a regular nasal spray will cause a rebond effect and make things worse. Most newer and more effective nasal sprays contain steroids which I can't use since I have atrial fibrillation. I use a nasal saline solution which is mildly effective but does not fully solve the problem. Can CPAP be effective with only one open nostril? Thanks.
