Hi, again. I resisted getting help simply because I didn't believe I had that problem. People are seldom aware of theier own snoring or bruxism. I believed my wife when she told me, but there wasn't as much public awareness about sleep apnea, and I knew lots of people snored -- I didn't connect it to apnea. My wife, who is smarter than me, told me I should mention it to my doctor, because for the last 5 years or so, I've been having more severe symptoms of apnea during the day (it is a progressive condition). Two years ago, I had a sleep study and got a CPAP with a nasal pillow mask which I now use all the time. They take a lot of getting used to -- weeks or months. But luckily I felt better the first night I used it, so I stuck with it. Good luck!
