CPAP set at a straight 4 does not eliminate apneas because you need a pressure of 6, as demonstrated in the sleep study. That's also a possible reason why your EDS continues. Why would anyone set the pressure lower than what's needed? Dud you have extreme difficulty exhaling when you started? Yes, if you are using your autopap as a straight CPAP, it should be set to 6. Better still, if you are using it as a straight CPAP, set the mode to autopap and have the minimum setting at least 5, upper limit at 11. Do you have the software so you can monitor your nightly sleep statistics? If not, talk to your doctor or DME about getting it.
