newly diagnosed and cpap machine

Posted by wonderland on September 13, 2007 at 07:44:12:

I was recently diagnosed with moderate apnea and have to do a return sleep study to triatation? regulate the suggested machine. I had a hard time with the machine at the study and they were not able to get the proper readings ( as I understand it) I have nasal issues and allergies . A deviated septum on my left nostril. The blowing air irriated the nose and allergies and I had a terrific headache when I finally was able to sleep and wake. I am concerned about what to do about this. Are there other things I should check out before going ahead with a machine? I am also concerned about traveling and other stuff related to the machine. Yet I know the apenia is real as I am tired all the time and wake up multiple times during the night. I feel unsure and uneasy about going ahead and about not going ahead. Any thoughts? wonderland
