Well, you definitely need to move forward with the CPAP for the time being. Doing nothing will not help your situation. You may want to look into surgical options for the future. You can read the NON-CPAP options forum.

If you're overweight then address that as well.

For nasal congestion you can try prescription nasal sprays and look into getting your septum straightened. You may also want to look into turbinate reduction during your septoplasty. Allergy testing and shots is another option.

There are full-face masks that you can use if you have problems breathing through your nose.

If you have problems dealing with the pressure of the CPAP, ask about a BiPAP.
