I had/have a similar problem with regular CPAP. I find it helps if I move the machine under my bed. But, I had to try virtually every machine on the market until I found one that is the quietest. BIPAP is probably the noisiest xPAP out there. I would suggest trying a different machine and deal with a DME that carries different manufacturers.
