Does apnea affect your eyes?

Posted by MrSundayNight on September 24, 2007 at 12:47:35:

I've got moderate sleep apnea. Have had a lot of trouble adjusting to wearing the mask. In fact, over the last little while, I've given up until I can buy a new mask that might be more comfortable.

But that isn't what I'm writing about.

I'd like to know if apnea has any effect on the eyes. I wake up in the mornings and often feel a strange pressure in my eyes, which takes several minutes to go away. I'm wondering if it's connected.

Any ideas?
