Hmmmmm . . . last January I moved and lost the connection cable for my ResMed AutoSet (purchased four years ago) and could not believe the difficulty I had getting a replacement. The DME who sold me the AutoSet was very apologetic and said ResMed would cancel his dealership, that they had tightened up restrictions on selling equipment only to authorized DMEs so as to prevent end-user customers (like us) from making direct purchases. I thought at the time it must be an isolated incident, but apparently it is not.

I finally got the cable by having my doctor's office order it for me; even the nurse had a run-around time and was very frustrated.

Well, I guess I'd better pray hard that my unit never stops working!
