You may have to switch to another type of nasal mask that works better and doesn't need to be as tight and won't irritate that area of your nose. I would recommend the ResMed Mirage Activa mask for this, because it doesn't need to be as tight as some other masks. IN the meantime, if you have a nose irritation problem, be sure not to rub it with your fingers during the day as this only makes the problems worse. When this has happened to me in the past, I apply a hot wash cloth to it in the morning and try to leave it alone all day. You can also look for the 3M Nexcare spot bandages at your local drug store. These work pretty good for moist areas of the skin. You can wear your CPAP mask over the bandage where it is sore.
