Apologies. When you said you used CPAP at the same pressure, I assumed you were on a "straight" CPAP.
It is difficult to answer your question without defining what a good night is and what a bad night is.
If you are referring to quality of sleep then I certainly have good and bad night. Probably more bad than good as I am a very light sleeper and suffer from back pain.Having an uncomfortable snorkle strapped to my head doesn't help either !
Since I have been on CPAP I have never choked or had sharp jolts as you described.
