The nasal masks I have used has a pivot point that can be adjusted to increase or decrease the angle and therefore the contact with the bridge of the nose. You may have something simular but did not mention it so to cover that base I make that point.

When I get skin irritation it helps me to make sure that the area of the mask that contacts the skin is cleaned with soap everynight before use and that my face is washed with soap in the morning to remove excess shin oil.
