Th e only way to know, in your case, if there is a relationship with apnea and your daytime breathing is treating the apnea and see if anything changes. If it does then great, if not you need to treat the underlying cause of the hyperventilation.

Since we do not know you medical history only your MD can make the call for possible treatments.
