Don't drop kick the machine out the window. More humidity can be achieved with a heated CPAP hose, since a higher machine setting with this kind of hose won't cause rain-out. Do some internet searching on the key words 'CPAP heated hose Australia' for more information.

You should also be drinking a full 12 oz glass of water about 10 minutes before bedtime.
