Startin CPAP Therapy This Week

Posted by StevieB on November 06, 2007 at 11:22:16:

I was recently diagnosed with severe OSA:

AHI = 72
SaO2 = 72%
CPAP pressure setting = 16 cm
RemStar Auto M with C-Flex

I understand that AHI >30 is considered "severe" and some publications list >60 as "very severe". Can someone explain whether there are additional problems with AHI 30 versus AHI 72?

Also, is 16 cm considered a high pressure setting?
