gum infection

Posted by rocket on November 07, 2007 at 04:06:02:

I have been on CPAP since 2004, but have been using it very erratically for the past year. The reason is a recurring gum infection at a specific point in the top right part of mouth. I have been instructed to exchange the filter, clean the tray, the pipe and mask, which I have done and used a Milton antiseptic solution. I do have a gum issue but have discussed this with my specailist dentist, who has not been very helpful.Nevertheless the pain in my gum keeps coming back. After a few days of not using the mask, it goes away. Does anybody else have the same issue?
