Yes, this is very severe. AHI of 72 means you are waking up 72 times an hour. That is more than once a minute.
Your oxygen levels also dropped to 72% which is very low.
16 is a relatively high pressure. If you have problems dealing with it you may want to look into a BiPAP. This machine will blow a lower pressure upon your exhale, making your high in halation pressure more tolerable.
