Well, no one else has commented so I'll put my 2 cents in. A hundred years ago when I had ponies, we used a salt water solution to help heal and toughen irritated membranes. That's the only thing I can think of is rinsing and swabbing regularly with salt water, although I'm kind of skeptical of a home remedy being more helpful than the Milton antiseptic which I presume is used as a mouthwash? Am I totally wrong?

Perhaps you are a candidate for nasal pillows or a delivery system that does not rely on a mask. My best to you . . . .
