Daytime sleepiness per se doesn't seem to have a very high correlation to my severe AHI/low SaO2 numbers as far as I can tell. Mild headaches but I had attributed that to allergy-related confestion. I have noticed the usual stuff such as being a little too sleepy after lunch, falling asleep watching the 6:00 news, etc. However, I have some of the other symptoms: low energy, depression (using Wellbutrin), and recent onset of high blood pressure. This has been untreated for probably 6-7 years and I wonder if some of the other changes I've noticed are related to OSA and low oxygen levels such as general loss of enjoyment, low libido, lack of concentration and irritability. I think I will be able to draw a better comparison after a few months on Auto-PAP. It makes me wonder about a lot of feelings I've had over the past few years and how my perception might have been colored by the OSA. What have you noticed? SB
