I've also had better success over the internet. They shipped me a CPAP next day delivery. The local guy showed up a few days late the previous time, so there goes any advantage of buying locally.

Also, my prefered local provider would have sold me a unit for $1500, and I would have had to pay 10%. The mail order place charged me $450, but I had to pay 30% of that because Joe was not a preferred provider. If you do the math, you will notice that my out-of-pocket was slightly lower with the mail order place!
