No, I think that people who eat a diet of beef, dairy, and wheat breads and do fine with sleep should continue to do what they choose and keep prices and demand down for the real good food. I'm posting on a internet sleep apnea forum that people who are considering CPAP as a treatement for sleep apnea should be aware that CPAP does not cure apnea after a period of use and it does not retrain the body to hold the airway open during sleep. More correctly, it continues your life in a state of mechanical dependance, which won't reverse until you correct the underlying problem. A case should be made to try dietary changes first before CPAP. So when someone comes to the forum discussing their problem, I will choose to say these things. Dietary changes and exercise will bring down AHI. Sleep apnea is a definition made by the medical community. Improve your sleep to below the definition and you don't have sleep apnea anymore.
