StevieB,

I'm curious, are they tracking your O2 levels during these script changes or merely going by what the machine is indicating? I ask this bcoz I had FOUR optimal pressures that my physician COULD have prescribed me from my titration study, but he based the pressure level on two factors; one was my O2 levels during each event, and two, the number of central apneas I was having as a result of the pressure.

With the SmartCard, I take it that you have a Respironics machine? One suggestion, you may want to have the doctor change the range from 9-18 to 14-18 or maybe 12-18. From my experience along with what I have read on this and other forums, APAPs tend to work better within smaller ranges.

I'm curious--why does your doc keep the threshhold pressure at 9?
